He basically dies because, if any part of his body is outside of a timed teleporter when it spools up, it’s left behind. It’s an interesting premise which drives level design and makes for a unique platforming experience.
Difficulty: Actually quite hard. But levels are small, so it’s not a hassle to replay content.
Content: Mike dies horribly many times. Expect blood and dismemberment, but it’s all small and not very disturbing, in my opinion.
Representation: Positive portrayal of a gay relationship, when you occasionally collect increments of conversation.
Age-related suggestions: For people who can manipulate a controller well.
